"Fun Day at Sea"DAY 3 - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2002
Your first stop is Calica and Cancun arriving at 9:00 a.m. and departing at midnight. Your shore excursion can be from one extreme to the other such as an exhilarating tropical jeep safari tour to soaking up the sun on the powdery white-sand beaches. In between the two ends of the spectrum include exploring the fascinating lagoons and wildlife of Xcaret or looking into the past with the awe-inspiring, ancient Mayan Ruins of Tulum.DAY 4 - THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2002
Your next stop is Cozumel arriving at 7:00 a.m. and departing at 5:00 p.m. You have many exciting shore excursions to select from. Snorkeling in Cozumel provides guests with a look into the magical world beneath the Caribbean's surface. Explore the fantastic underwater national park before you wander through the shops in the downtown area, stretch out on the area's most popular beach, Playa San Francisco, or enjoy Mariachi music in one of the many lively bars.DAY 5 - FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2002

Policies
To secure confirmed accommodations, the initial NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100 per person is required at the time of booking. A second deposit of $100 is due April 26, 2002 with the final payment due June 21, 2002. The price includes the fare for the cruise, meals, taxes, port charges, insurance, and gratuities. Carnival Cruise offers a Vacation Protection Plan, which provides coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, Baggage Protection, Medical Expense coverage, and Emergency Evacuation. The insurance rate is $59 for ages 17 and above. For under age 17, the insurance rate is $39. The prepaid gratuity fee for the room steward, waiter, etc. is based upon $9.75 per day. Shore tours may only be purchased on board. All tours are subject to change. Camp Carnival is for ages 2-15 for no additional charge. However, babysitting in the children's playroom from 10pm - 10am requires an additional fee. Smoking is permitted in the cabin, outside deck, and casino; however, it is not permitted in the dining room or in the lounges during the shows. Proper travel documentation is required throughout the cruise and is the responsibility of the guest. Any guest traveling without proper documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. United States guests need Proof of Citizenship such as a Passport, Birth Certificate, Copy of Birth Certificate with raised seal and photo identification. Associates Universal Travel, Inc., Voyages of Discovery, and Diana Arldt-Roberts' responsibility and liability does not extend to personal injury, property damage or acts of negligence or omission related to any vendor providing services on the offered package plan. PORTS OF CALL
Galveston, TexasExtend your vacation and experience the charm of Galveston at the Hotel Galvez-Wyndham Grand Heritage Hotel or the San Luis, which are located on the Seawall, or The Tremont House, which is located on The Strand. All are historical hotels. For additional information regarding Galveston, the Chamber of Commerce is 888-425-4753.
Cozumel
Located at the gateway to the Yucatan Peninsula is Mexico's largest inhabited island, Cozumel, which is known as the scuba-diving capital of Mexico where you will find unbelievably beautiful underwater scenery. It is surrounded by the most outstanding coral reefs in Mexico, which makes for superior diving and snorkeling. The famous Palancar Reef is full of sea caves and canyons, which are home to countless varieties of brilliantly colored fish.
Calica / Cancun
Calica is located about an hour's drive from either Cancun or Tulum. This exotic destination offers many interesting sights including Xcaret, an amazing eco-archaeological theme park, the ancient Mayan ruins at Tulum, and Xel-Ha, a beautiful natural aquarium formed by two interlocking lagoons where the tranquil waters are perfect for viewing brilliant tropical fish and coral.
Camp Carnival
Camp Carnival provides a wide range of activities designed for four different age groups between the ages from 2 through 15 at no additional cost.Toddlers (2-5)
Juniors (6-8)
Intermediate (9-12)
Teens (13-15)Every "Fun Ship" counselor is either college-educated in a related field, has professional child care experience, or both. For ages 2-8, the parents are provided with a beeper in case the child needs to be picked up because they are continually asking for the parent, misbehavior, health, etc. For older children, you might consider bringing two-way radios aboard to have constant contact with your children.
When the ship is in port, Carnival provides baby-sitting services for children under two and older from port arrival until 2:00 p.m. and during the evenings from 10:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. This is supervised free play. The cost is $6.00 per hour per child ($4.00 per hour for each additional sibling.)
While at sea, Camp Carnival is from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. While in port, baby-sitting is provided as mentioned above for an additional fee, and Camp Carnival will resume at 3:00 p.m. with scheduled activities for the children.
Activites might include face painting, ping-pong or volleyball tournaments, dance lessons, talent shows, meeting the cruise entertainers, and many other fun opportunites.
Fountain Fun Card - Free soft drink refills with the purchase of the Fountain Fun Card; For a 5 day cruise and over 21 years of age, the price is $24.94, and under 21 is $17.00.
